Competition Rules & Technical Guidelines

General Rules

  • Participants must register before the deadline.
  • Individual and team categories may run concurrently.
  • Use of calculators or external aids is not allowed unless stated.
  • All submissions must be in English (or specified language).
Age / Category-Based Rules

  • Grade ranges define categories (Primary, Intermediate, Advanced, Senior).
  • Students must compete only in their grade-appropriate category.
  • Team Challenge category allows mixed grades (within guidelines).
Exam Format & Duration

  • Each round contains 5 to 7 problems.
  • Duration is typically 2 to 3 hours, depending on category.
  • Problems require proof-based, short-answer, and multiple-choice formats.
Scoring & Evaluation
